Eight Clarendon Parish schools have been confirmed for the upcoming inaugural Elite Cup, with the competition just weeks away from its first kick-off.

Eight schools from across Clarendon Parish have been confirmed for next month's inaugural Clarendon Elite Cup, with the competition set to kick off in a matter of weeks.

The participating schools represent the parish's strongest school football programmes and coaches are already talking up their chances ahead of what promises to be a fiercely contested tournament.

The Clarendon Elite Sports Program, which is organising the event, confirmed the draw and opening fixtures will be announced shortly. Teams have been given notice to submit their squads and ensure all players meet the eligibility requirements.

"We are delighted to have eight fantastic schools committed to the first Elite Cup," said an organiser. "The level of talent in these squads is exceptional and supporters are in for a real treat."

The tournament will be played across several venues in Clarendon Parish, with matchday information to be released via the CESP website and social media channels. Admission is expected to be free for all group stage matches to encourage maximum community attendance.

Local businesses have stepped forward as sponsors, providing kits, equipment, and financial support that will help the competition run smoothly. Organisers thanked everyone who has contributed and urged the community to come out in force and support their local schools.
